School internship 3rd week

Due to the heavy wind,rain and public holidayfor Nabhidinam the proper functioning of the whole week could not function well.But during the three working days all the activities of the school were functioned as usual. On Monday morning there was morning assembly.It was one of the happiest moments in student's life because the cycle distribution for students coming from poor circumstances was held in the assembly.The students' faces were filled with ecstasy.The respected PTA president along with our HM distributed the keys to students in their parent's presence.Due to the time limitation two students only received cycles. It was announced in the assembly that the other cycles were distributed to students later in the presence of their parents.      

                                         
 
                                  Curricular activities
All the classes were lively and the teacherswere busy with the exam oriented classes.Smartroom was engaged every time.Teachers of every subjects showed videos related to the topics they want to learn.Students received satisfaction as well as relaxation from their learning sessions.I also tried to take classes technology oriented.The vigorous  training sessions for SSLC and higher secondary classes were functioning properly.There was a celebration related to the Constitution day on Nov 26.Students who received prizes for the quiz were distributed cash award and momento.
   
         Co curricular activities
       
          The practice of subdistrict youth festival winners to perform their level best in the district level were going under the coaching of expert artists .Students who won the drama and other competitors were practicing daily in the auditorium.They have a positive spirit and desire to win the coming competition.

I chose M.R.M.K.M.M.H.S.S Edava for my first internship programme.I have two friends with me Saira and Seethal. Training began on 21 June.We had a little fear and anxiety before entering into the school.But all the tensions melted out when we started mingling with the Headmistress, Teachers ,other staffs and students in the school.All of them walmly welcomed us. Innovative lesson

Innovations in learning sessions are always appreciable.During this internship I wanted to take an innovative lesson.For that I selected the last two paragraphs of the lesson Juliane Koepcke's 'The jungle aircrash'. It is a story about an amazing survival of the author from an aircrash'.For making the class innovative I showed the pictures of certain celebrities who died on accidents through ICT and  linked it to the survival of the writer.After explaining the paragraphs teacher gave the meanings of boards and showed pictures related to it.Then I gave them a group activity to write slogans against accidents.I provided pluckcards to write the activity.Then another interesting session was there. I called certain students and asked them to take a lot from my hand in which safety measures to be taken in an aeroplane were written.They acted the instructions before the class and others want to tell what it was.
