School Internship 6 th week
The school reopened after the Christmas vacation on the very first day of a fresh year 2018.I could see the happiness,hopes and optimism in every faces of our schoolfamily.Everyone wished a wonderful Newyear each other.Children were very excited and very eager to know and share their experiences of Christmas holidays with friends.I didn't forget to wish my sweet students a very happy Newyear."New beginning,new hopes,new challenges,new relations",everyone in the school was in a fresh mood.As always school ground was neat and clean in this new year as well.The ecoclub of this school was active and they tried to maintain the greenery of the school.The very first view of the school will surely make an impression about the hygiene of school.The activities of NATIONAL GREEN CORPS ECOCLUB of the school are going well.
But during the beginning of newyear itself the the sad demise of a former teacher Sri.Prabhakharan Sir made everyheart wept.There was an assembly on Wednesday to make condolences and pray for the soul's eternal rest.Mr.Vahid Sir talked about the teacher eloquently,about the great 30 years of service of that efficient teacher and his dedication and service
mindedness.There was one minute silent prayer for the dead soul.There is an academic calendar designed for each class students to express their reflections of a week in school.There are separate columns for each period's class.
Curricular activities
Pupils were very eager to know the terminal examination marks.In certain classes checked answer papers were given.It was informed to all the teachers that the finalmarklists of every classes must be submitted during the firstweek itself.On the second day there was no class due to Mannam Jayanthi.Grading classes for SSLC students were started during this week.Different clubs of the school functioned well.Exam oriented classes for SSLC students also began in this week.
Co curricular activities
The school always promote all the talents of students.It is a great platform where students can exercise all their skills.The school provides a number of activities to nourish the all round development of a student.To mould a healthy,active and brave generation school started classes on Yoga and Karate .The classes re started after the vacation without any delay.Yoga classes are for boys and Karate classes for girls.There was a programme by the excise department for higher secondary students.There was a programme NAVAPRABHA intended to find out the students who felt difficulty with reading and writing and help them for learning.
