Conscientization programme

As part of our school internship we conducted a conscientization programme in the school.The subject we took was 'Social evils around'. We got a group of wonderful kids for the session.They showed a great interest and positive attitude towards the class.As the subject was one with great social relevance it is not too difficult to handle the session.They expressed their knowledge regarding social evils.I along with my colleagues Sheethal and Saira explained about different social evils and about the measures to be taken for irradiating them from our society.We showed videos,pictures and slide presentantation to add extra beauty to the session.In total the class was lively and energetic.We are so excited to describe those moments.

Innovative lesson

Innovations in learning sessions are always appreciable.During this internship I wanted to take an innovative lesson.For that I selected the last two paragraphs of the lesson Juliane Koepcke's 'The jungle aircrash'. It is a story about an amazing survival of the author from an aircrash'.For making the class innovative I showed the pictures of certain celebrities who died on accidents through ICT and  linked it to the survival of the writer.After explaining the paragraphs teacher gave the meanings of boards and showed pictures related to it.Then I gave them a group activity to write slogans against accidents.I provided pluckcards to write the activity.Then another interesting session was there. I called certain students and asked them to take a lot from my hand in which safety measures to be taken in an aeroplane were written.They acted the instructions before the class and others want to tell what it was.
